You can search through our current Crew Members details using specific search criteria for the most suitable members to meet your requirements and then self-select up to 20 members to contact and discuss your plans. Each profile contains full personal details, skills and contact information of the crew member.

We have sailing crew members of all ages and experience levels, from amateur day sailors to professional Ocean Yachtmasters, who are looking for sailing opportunities. We introduce amateur sailing crew for cruising, yacht racing and delivery trips ranging from day sailing to international voyages. We also have full details of experienced professional crew at all levels who are often keen and willing to travel anywhere in the world at 24 hours notice.

Owners and crew can discuss plans direct and usually make suitable arrangements to suit both parties. For amateur leisure sailing this may be on the basis of a shared contribution from crew towards food, and overnight berthing etc. or a working passage arrangement. Professional crew will usually expect to negotiate a fair wage and for expenses to be covered.

As a private yacht owner or yacht skipper you may register your crew requirements with us free of charge. We will circulate your details to appropriate crew members who may contact you direct. This service is available to private and commercial yacht owners who require crew and where the maximum contribution (if any) required from our crew members does not exceed around £15 per day.

Details will be available on our website to our crew members usually within 24 hours. If your planned departure is within the next 30 days please tick the "Short Notice" checkbox and we will place you on our Short Notice Board which will give you a higher profile.

Jobs Afloat Free Service with No finders Fees

If you have a sailing boat or motor boat and are seeking amateur or professional crew for paid job positions advertise here with your paid sailing job opportunities - these will appear on our Professional Sailing pages usually within 24 hours and suitable crew will contact you direct.
