Opportunities available for regular crew interested in cruiser/racer style club yacht racing. The 29ft Cruiser/racer monohull/keelboat yacht is set up and equipped for club racing in the Solent. Costs to crew are travel to the yacht based in Gosport, their share of food/drink consumed and occasionally a share of visiting port berthing costs. Although RYA qualifications are not essential, what is essential is experience of being an active crew member on a sailing yacht either as helm (tiller), or mainsail and genoa trim, or symmetric spinnaker handling, Would suit crew who wish to further their experience in an autumn season campaign of club level racing. Both weekend and weekday evening opportunities available. Crew ideally need to be locally based such that a commute to Gosport is practical.
