Sailing into Micronesia

We are looking to depart from the East coast of the Philippines by the end of October. We will be sailing to Fiji/Tonga, stopping in many of the islands along the way. We are expecting this trip to last a few months.

The boat: Kanaga is a 16m loa, 5.5m wide at the beam ferro cement ketch rig. We are currently 2 and have 3 double cabins still available for singles/couples.

The captain is asking for 150 US$ per week, as well as shared costs for food & fuel. This is not a cruising charter however and crew are expected to help with basic duties such as cooking, cleaning and night watches.

This can be a great experience for those looking to explore remote islands in the Pacific, learning how to sail, or just mile building for their CV :)
